Set up two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) requires a one-time code in addition to your password, so a leaked password alone can't access your account.

Enable 2FA

1. Open Account → Security → Two-factor authentication.
2. Pick SMS OTP or Authenticator app (preferred — works offline).
3. For an authenticator app, scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, 1Password, etc.
4. Enter the 6-digit code we show to confirm.

Backup codes

You'll be shown 10 single-use backup codes. Save them somewhere safe — they're your only way back in if you lose your phone.

Lost your second factor?

Contact support. We can disable 2FA after we re-verify your identity through email + ID document. Allow 24–48 hours.
